Black and White

Basic Black and Whisper White cardstocks, So Very Grateful stamp set embossed in white, white taffeta ribbon, white twine, old embellishments kit stick pin. Supplies are Stampin' Up!

So Very Grateful

I love the way this turned out! All supplies are Stampin' Up! So Very Grateful images were stamped in Versamark Champagne Dazzle and then embossed with white powder on vellum. On the other side I colored the images with markers. Attached with mini glue dots to a Whisper White card base. I was going to add some ribbon and a sentiment but I didn't want to cover anything up :)

OWH#213

For Operation Write Home sketch challenge #213, a birthday card using various components I had on my desk.

Embossing Folders and Easter cards

It was too hard to resist the sale on embossing folders at Joann's so I just went for it. Darice folders were 2 for $5 last week and there were some really cute designs. The first picture features one with Easter Eggs and the other swirls and butterflies.

All of these cards are going to the operation Write Home card drive to get there for the March 7th Easter deadline. The second set uses Stampin' Up's Abundant Hope stamp set and various papers.
the third uses more SU: Easter Blossoms and A Good Egg.

Craft Clips

A super simple craft project using clothes pins, paper scraps, and embellishments that you have on hand. I used Mod Podge to adhere paper but I think a good glue stick would do the trick as well.

Festive Friday

What a fun challenge I found today! This is Festive Friday and the inspiration is from this pretty holiday photo. My card uses all Stampin' Up! supplies: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, and Real Red cardstocks, Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and coordinating framelits die, baker's twine, and Greetings of the Season for sentiment.

Desk Cleanup

I'm sure most crafters have heaps of incomplete projects everywhere, it's all part of the process! I've been trying to complete some of these before tearing on to the next thing. The upcoming couple of days may have some vague information since I am too lazy to research exactly which supplies I used, you can always substitute a similar thing.

Makeover

This is a makeover of an older card that I made. It was a large square with ribbons that I cut down to an A2 size and mounted on a Pale Plum base. Cardstock is Naturals Ivory with Elements of Style stamped and colored in markers. I then stamped a large background stamp over top of this and embossed in white. Cut out hummingbird and popped up with dimensionals and used a vanilla hardware frame over the birthday sentiment.

Seattle Seahawks!!

Go Seahawks!! This is for today's Card Bowl 2014 challenge over at Operation Write Home. Representing the 12th man, I am rooting today for my current home team of Seattle. I am originally from NJ and have always been an Eagles fan but have also adopted that other bird of prey on the West Coast :) Maybe having the Super Bowl in my NJ is a good omen!
