Stitched Stockings

The first picture is for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. It got a little bit away from me since the stocking images were so large but it's close enough to the original idea. Whisper White base was embossed in white with the pine boughs wheel. Stitched Stockings stamp set and punch, sentiment from Christmas Lodge. Polka dot ribbon is not SU. Half pearls to embellish.
The second pic is a mixed group of cards for OWH that I worked on yesterday to complete this month's shipment. On to Christmas cards for them!

I embossed a bunch of these in different sizes to have them ready to go for various projects. Brushed Silver cardstock with pewter embossing, Frosted Finishes embellishment and Winter Frost dsp with Island Indigo and Whisper White. This is for the Freshly Made sketch challenge.

World Map

My favorite stamp from the new catalog this year was this World Map. Love it! I used Crumb Cake, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Espresso cardstocks (sounds yummy). Image was embossed in Espresso powder, circular image is from The Open Sea. I searched for an hour until I found the perfect sentiment for this which is by Gina K.

Merry Vintage Santa

I fell in love with this vintage Santa image that I pinned yesterday, it is available for free here. This Santa reminds me of a card I got from my grandmother when I was little :)
I used the new Stampin' Up! Be Merry single stamp and Real Red cardstock with Whisper White to make the tags.

Scandinavian Style

The blue, silver, white combination reminds me of the Scandinavian style ornaments, especially with the Make A Mitten border stamp in Pacific Point ink. The Festive Flurry snowflake was silver embossed on Brushed Silver cardstock and embellished with half pearls and a Frosted Finishes snow gem. Retired SU holiday paper and some silver glimmer paper for banners.
This is for the Festive Friday challenge to use these colors and the sketch from Create with Connie and Mary.

Apples

I've been on quite a tear, cleaning and organizing every space in the house, and also working on outside fall clean up before the rains set in. I almost threw away this little notecard with the apples and gingham on it but saved it to make into a new card as background paper. Added some red and white stitched grosgrain ribbon, a heart button with crochet thread and the apple image from the SU set Give Thanks. In my spare time lately I've been working on cards for the troops and catching up on my 2013 reading goal. Almost there with 81 books out of 110 read so far!

Whisper White and Eggplant cardstocks (this looks a bit darker in photo), with silver cording, narrow ribbon, and rhinestones to embellish.

More Warmth

All supplies are Stampin' Up! Season of Joy poinsettia stamped in white and highlighted in Real Red on Creamy Caramel cardstock. Warmth and Wonder tree and sentiment.

Warmth and Wonder Wednesday

I was so happy to get my new Stampin' Up! goodies, I didn't quite know where to start. The first two cards use the hostess set Warmth & Wonder and will go to my next shipment of cards for the troops at OWH.  I'll be concentrating on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the next box to meet the deadlines.

The first card was inspired by a pretty card by dbarry where she used the Dasher stamp. Pacific Point base with various blue inks used to sponge sky. I spritzed the whole thing with Vanilla Smooch Spritz for some luminescence. Deer and tree in Espresso ink.

The second card with this set uses retired SU holiday paper, Handsome Hunter and Very Vanilla cardstocks, and red satin ribbon.

The large flower in the peach card was found in my box of pre-stamped images so I don't know the maker, also used SU papers and a Crisp Cantaloupe base.

Up, Up, and Away and Everybunny stamp sets on a white base with Not Quite Navy cardstock. The "sky" was done using Glossy white brayered in Cool Caribbean and then spritzed with bleach.

The last set of cards uses a super simple approach to a cute birthday card and I've made them in lots of different colors. Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder with a circle punched out of front. It makes a little window for you to attach the cupcake (or whatever you want to use) on the inside along with the sentiment. Flat and easy for the troops to mail back home!
